This Privacy Policy regulates the principles regarding the processing of personal data within the scope of the services provided through the Toptancıdan mobile application and https://toptancidan.app by TEKEL ÖRME SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Toptancıdan”).

1. Scope

This Policy covers the provisions regarding the collection, processing, transfer, and protection of personal data obtained during membership, advertisement creation, payment, messaging, and customer support processes.
Toptancıdan only provides ad publishing and listing services; it is not a party to product sales, payment collection, shipping, or delivery transactions.
Responsibility for commercial transactions lies with the respective seller and buyer.

2. Data Collected

  • Account Data: name, surname, e-mail, phone, password, profile image.
  • Advertisement Data: title, description, category, price, media files, statistics.
  • Messaging Data: user-to-user message content and file attachments.
  • Device Data: IP, operating system, device ID, cookie data, location (if permitted).
  • Payment Data: ad rights/package purchases.
    • Card data is processed directly by Iyzico and is not stored by TEKEL ÖRME SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Execution of membership and ad publishing services.
  • Payment and billing processes.
  • Security controls and fraud prevention.
  • Providing ad performance reports (views, clicks, statistics – for informational purposes only, no guarantee).
  • Development and improvement of products/services.
  • Sharing anonymized data with artificial intelligence and third-party systems for analytical purposes.

4. Data Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to:

  • Service providers such as NetGSM (communication) and Iyzico (payment).
  • Foreign servers (primarily in Germany) for hosting and storage.
  • Public authorities and regulators, when legally required.

5. Transfer Abroad

Personal data may be stored on servers located in Germany.
This transfer is carried out based on explicit consent or other legal grounds in accordance with KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law).

6. Data Security

TEKEL ÖRME SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ applies technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, it is not responsible for breaches beyond its control (e.g., cyber-attacks).
In such cases, users and official authorities will be informed in accordance with the law.

7. Device Permissions

The mobile application may request certain device permissions, including:

  • Camera, gallery, and microphone access (for ad creation and communication).
  • Location (if permitted, for regional services).
  • Notifications.
  • File access.

These permissions are used only for the relevant function and never for unrelated purposes.

8. Retention Periods

  • Account data: retained until the account is closed.
  • Invoices/financial transactions: retained for at least 10 years in accordance with legal obligations.
  • Ad/media data: retained as long as the advertisement is active or the account is open.
  • System logs: retained for a reasonable period necessary for security and operational purposes.

9. User Rights

Within the scope of KVKK, users have the following rights:

  • Access to their personal data.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Object to data processing.
  • Data portability.
